New Zealand Hand Made Cobbles

Middle Earth Akaroa cobbles, Classic cobbles and Honeycomb cobbles are inspired by traditional European tiles. In red and brown tones, they bring an organic warmth to your space and are perfect for tiling both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Our cobbles are made the same way that cobbles have been made in Europe for centuries. The tiles are extruded like a loaf of bread and then hand cut with wire. This means that as they dry they dry with a slight rise in the middle of the tile. This creates a rippled effect on the floor and the result is that the floor feels softer to walk on than normal tiles. Middle Earth cobbles are especially suited to walking on with bare feet.
